The field point is the most popular point shape in archery. The shape of the tip is optimized for 3D targets and penetrates the target as straight as possible.
The tip is divided into several segments, the so-called break-offs. These break-offs can be broken off at will to achieve the ideal tip weight. The basic segment with the tip has a weight of 60gr. Each additional segment weighs 10gr, so that the tip weighs 120gr in total.
The material used for the tip is stainless steel (also known as chromium steel). This alloy consists of several materials and contains iron, carbon, chromium and other metals. The chromium makes the stainless steel low-rust.
