The JACKALOPE Amber Take Down is handmade in the finest European craftsmanship from high-quality and innovative materials. The handle is made of natural Amazoque wood, dark American black walnut and ultra-modern Mycarta, for example, which gives it its unmistakable character. The African Amazoque, with its clearly pronounced and very decorative grain, gives the handle a natural, warm appearance. In contrast, the dark wood of the American black walnut and the highly stable Mycarta, which provides stability as an intermediate layer and minimises hand shocks. The limbs are made of spiderwood and black glass, whose silky matt colour is a perfect complement to the handle. All this together makes the JACKALOPE Take Down bows fast, forgiving and very quiet.
Particularly striking about the Amber Refined Take Down is the unusual shape of the handle, which looks very modern in its design and reminds of waves. The grip area is especially strongly formed here and moves slightly forward in comparison to "normal" handle. Thus the bow has more contact surface on the hand at the same time gets a better balance.
Another detail, perhaps not so obvious in its perfection, is the hand-cut transitions from the handle to the limbs. The handle merges seamlessly into the limbs and makes forget that this is a three-piece bow. The elegant design can also be seen in inconspicuous details.
Its eponym, the amber, is one of the oldest gemstones and healing stones in the world. It is an energetic protective stone that strengthens confidence and vitality. Of course, its traditional look is simple and beautiful at the same time, but the Amber by JACKALOPE Archery convinces above all with one thing: its speed. The Amber by JACKALOPE Archery has already been optimized for higher speeds on the drawing board thanks to its special bow geometry. The main focus in the design of this bow was therefore on its increased performance and optimal speed. These requirements are maximized by the optionally available speed versions. An additional layer of carbon improves the already good-natured characteristics of the bow. It makes the bow more forgiving and provides a narrower and more accurate hit pattern when shooting. But how does it do that? Quite simple: By the carbon inlay, the limbs are not only lighter and more distortion-resistant but also approx. 10fps faster.
