DRAKE Parrot - 58" - 30-60 lbs - Take Down Recurve bow

The DRAKE Parrot is like its sister model the DRAKE Black Raven! As a three-part recurve bow, it is still quite classic with a length of 58". Its metal handle and the colouring in the colour combinations Muddy Black, Muddy White, Muddy Pink or Muddy Vista Camo are rather unusual. But with it all the more worth seeing!
The prejudice that metal handle are heavy is refuted by the Parrot, because 675g for a metal handle and 1000g for the whole bow are more than good and anything but heavy. And as small as the handle of the Parrot is, it also has a visor, stabilizer and button bushing, as well as the larger handle.

With possible draw weights between 30 and 60 lbs (in 5 lbs steps) and limbs made of strong maple wood and black fibreglass, the bow is suitable for beginners as well as advanced players.

Super Bogen

Bin nun seit 4 Wochen im Besitz dieses Bogens und sehr Zufrieden damit. Lediglich 1 Stern Abzug,
da seitens Hersteller keine Angaben zur Standhöhe getroffen werden. Nach längerem Probieren hat es
dann i-wann gepasst. Ansonsten ein toller Bogen:) Danke an das BSW-Team, die mir mit viel Rat zur Seite standen.

Guter Bogen, aber zu laut

Herzlichen Dank erstmal an da BSW-Team, ihr macht einen tollen Job!!

Der Versand ging recht flott, nur der Lieferant war ein faules Aas und so wurde mir der Bogen 3 Tage später geliefert als ich es von hier gewohnt bin, naja egal.

Zum Bogen: Er ist ein echtes Leichtgewicht und die Optik gefällt mir sehr gut. Der Plastikgriff knarckst etwas wenn man den Bogen mal etwas fester anpackt (wurde mit einer Einlage meinerseits behoben). Beim Abschuss selbst ist es die Sehne die man als erstes hört und die ist nicht gerade leise (wurde mit einer Felleinlage meinerseits minimiert). Mein Anfängerbogen, den ich vor 3 Jahren gekauft habe (natürlich auch hier) ist wesentlich leiser, klar, weniger Zugkraft und er besteht aus Holz.
Aber Alles in Allem bin ich mit diesem Bogen (nach meinen Modifikationen) sehr zufrieden. Auch eine Freundin, die ich mit diesem Bogen mal 1 Tag schießen ließ, ist begeistert. Bis auf die Geräuschkulisse die beim Abschuss entstand, kann ich nichts negatives über diesen Bogen berichten. Solide, liegt gut in der Hand, Optik sehr ansprechend, Pfeile fliegen da hin wo sie hin sollen. was will man mehr?
Für Anfänger eine klare Kaufempfehlung um mal in den Genuss des Sports zu kommen, fortgeschrittenen Sportschützen würde ich allerdings zu einem anderen Modell raten. Ich nutze diesen Bogen hauptsächlich für 3D-Parcours da er leicht und handlich ist.

Genialer Bogen

Sehr gute Qualität zu einem günstigen Preis!
Obwohl der Bogen preisgünstig ist, ist dieser überhaupt nicht billig verarbeitet.
Es macht mit diesem Bogen genauso viel Spaß zu schießen wie mit einem 10 Fach teureren Bogen.
