Complete arrow | SPHERE Rival - Carbon
With the Rival, a new challenger from SPHERE Archery steps up to the baseline. With a slim 3.2 mm diameter, the Rival is predestined for archers who want to improve their results at club and competition level. The shaft is made of lightweight, high-modulus 40T carbon, which features excellent bending properties and high breaking strength. The carbon is manufactured under the highest pressure for an even lighter, more stable and more precise shaft.
As a competition shaft, it convinces with unsurpassed precision. The good and even energy absorption predestines it for competition and promises the tightest groupings. The greatly reduced micro-diameter makes the shaft particularly resistant to wind drift. Even at long distances and in strong gusts, the arrows group ideally. The low weight results in a particularly flat and straight flight curve and thus incredible accuracy.
The Rival is available in a wide range of spines. This covers the tuning ranges for recurve and compound archers over a wide range of bow styles, draw weights and draw lengths.
Visually, the SPHERE Rival chooses the path of noble restraint and comes in classic matt black, which is only interrupted by the name in a bronze tone.

Feedback on the SPHERE Rival
With its minimalist bronze design, the Sphere Rival shaft is an elegant shaft. Although appearance is not necessarily the most important factor when buying shafts, it is not a disadvantage if they look good.
The most important thing, of course, is the arrow flight and the performance that the shooter can achieve with these arrows. The Rival also scores highly in this respect. Once the arrows are set, they all behave in the same way and group extremely tightly. This grouping is maintained even in poor weather conditions. Thanks to the thinness of the shaft and the speed the arrow picks up, it's a lot easier to find the gold and group regularly in high winds and rain.
The Rival pins are also recommended. The new design brings with it an extremely stable pin. After a dozen test hits on three individual pins, only one was scratched. Not a single one has bent in the slightest or suffered such damage that it would have to be replaced.
The low price is another plus point of these arrows. The performance of the arrow and the grouping you get is remarkable for the price you pay. This arrow has the potential to make a difference at the national level and can serve as a worthwhile and significant upgrade from Carbon Ones/ VAPs.
