Length from

The length of an arrow is always measured from the beginning of the shaft (without the point) to the nock bottom, i.e. the point of the nock at which the string lies.

- With the option "Length from shaft end", the actual arrow is therefore approx. 0.5" longer than selected,
  as the distance between the shaft end and the nock, the bottom must be added to the pure shaft length. 
 The total length of the arrow is thus about 0.5" longer than the highest length selectable here.

- With the option "Length from Nock bottom" the actual arrow corresponds to the selected length, because here the pure shaft is shortened so much that the desired length is reached at the nock bottom.

Glue in or enclosed Point?

If you want to glue in the point or the insert of the arrow, this is not a problem either. Simply select the option "Enclose the point only ". We add them only with the arrows and not stick them.

Protector Ring

The Protector is a sleeve which is glued onto the shaft at the front and back and covers the shaft to approx. 1cm.
The ring prevents the carbon from breaking or splicing at its most sensitive points. It can be used with any insert and with any point or cam.

Complete Arrow | BLACK EAGLE Instinct .005 - Carbon - factory fletched - pack of 6

The BLACK EAGLE Instinct shaft is the only carbon shaft with an extra thin diameter and wood look currently on the market. By the way, the extra small diameter of the Instinct was developed to make shooting easier. It helps to compensate for the off-centre design of most recurve and longbow centrepieces. In addition, the Instinct is combined with the 100 grain stainless steel outersert to keep the weight on the arrow where it belongs, in front!

The high-quality carbon shaft is covered with the innovative Duracoat coating in wood look and thus looks deceptively real like a wooden arrow. Finally, the hand-painted arrow cresting, which can be selected in three different combinations, ensures an unmistakable look.
