Bush-pigs
(Potamochoerus larvatus) are predominantly active at night. The animals sleep in
self-dug structures and in dense bushes. Their main enemy is the leopard. When
cornered, they are quite able to defend themselves. Bush pigs reach a head torso
length of 100 to 150 cm, a shoulder height of 55 to 80 cm and a weight of 55 to
120 kg.
