The Mamba is a traditional horse bow. It can be shot universally by right and left handed archers and is made of Ovangkol and Maple woods and white and black fiberglass. Ovangkol is a very hard wood originating in West Africa. There is also the famous name-giver - the Mamba. The snake pattern of the limbs makes an extraordinary design and a unique riding bow.
The horse bow was originally developed in the Asian region. The most famous peoples are probably the Huns and Mongols, who have been using this archetype of bow making for centuries. The horse bows were, as the name suggests, designed and perfected for shooting from a horse. After all, when riding a horse, space is limited and the mounted warrior had to remain agile in order to survive or hunt successfully. This near-perfect bow spread worldwide throughout history, and other peoples also developed their horse bows, which did not differ significantly in basic function, yet each represented distinct variants.
