All Hawk ILF risers are compatible with all ILF limbs on the market, thus allowing maximum flexibility and optimal adaptation to the skills of the archer. In particular, the ILF limbs of the Spiderbows C.V. Edition, the new Spiderbows SCB limbs with visible carbon and bamboo core and the Spiderbows SCF limbs with visible carbon and foam core are the ideal companions.
In combination with the riser window cut down the middle – for an optimal arrow flight and easy arrow tuning – and the matching SWS limbs, the result is an almost perfect bow with very smooth shooting behaviour and maximum precision.
The riser is made of highly stable, stabilised wood in the middle and sustainable SRF wood in cocobolo, curly birch or palisander design. Sustainability is achieved by using European woods, which not only get their beautiful design from a special treatment, but also gain in stability and weight. In the SRF Design variant, the risers are heavier, about 20%, than the regular Hawk risers. The centre strip on stabilised wood has an important characteristic for stability and torsional stiffness. This gives the bow an even smoother shooting performance and increased precision. Without additional inserts or other materials, a vibration-free riser has been created that impresses with absolute precision. The result is a very smooth shooting experience.

The riser, made from the heaviest and most stable wood that Spiderbows has ever used, gives the bow impressive stability. The new Hawk Competition is the perfect choice for young people or women for whom the Spiderbows Condor was too powerful.
The filigree handle design of the riser fits perfectly in the hand and ensures a comfortable feel, regardless of the size of the gripping hand. For purists, we offer the riser in deep black or a blend of warm brown shades. Those who prefer a little more colour can choose from three models with a contrasting coloured stripe to express their personal style. They all have one thing in common: the silky shimmering finish.
ILF – where technology meets Tradition!
All riser models feature the well-known, stable and precise ILF attachment from SPIDERBOWS in black, thus allowing absolute flexibility in the selection of ILF limbs and settings. The ILF system has reimagined SPIDERBOWS and developed what is perhaps the best ILF attachment for the limbs on the market. This is where high-quality, precise technology meets the tradition of a wooden riser.
The ILF attachment, with all its adjustment options, is housed in a solid metal block and forms a closed system. The side adjustment for limb alignment, for example, is completely integrated into the metal block, thus avoiding cracks in the riser that can occur with conventional systems because the screw is located in the wooden riser. In addition, there are tiller screws that have an additional ring and a movable head that optimally guides and fixes the limbs. The tiller can be used to optimally adjust the bow to personal needs and to adjust the draw weight of the bow by approx. ±3 lbs.
But the SPIDERBOWS ILF attachment has even more to offer: Due to the requirements of the different rules and regulations of the various archery associations, the tiller screw has been extended by an internal grub screw, which serves as an additional lock. This allows the tiller screw to be locked in the desired position. If you want to avoid any adjustment altogether, the tiller screw can be fixed in the block using a side clamp screw connection. In contrast to the other SPIDERBOWS, the ILF attachment on the Hawk is open and therefore more delicate without side wood panelling.
