The sandwich construction of the limbs is based on a bamboo core with a highly stable, black glass laminate and a silky matt surface. This construction and the special SPIDERBOWS limb geometry provide limbs with very good shooting characteristics.
In the carbon versions, SPIDERBOWS supplements the bamboo core with a layer of carbon laminate only 1.2 mm thick. This special limb construction is quite something and has a number of advantages: In addition to maximum torsional rigidity, it guarantees extremely forgiving shot behavior and very high speeds.
The "ILF" in the name of the limbs stands for the International Limb Fitting System - ILF system for short - which characterizes them as plug-in limbs and makes them universal. With the ILF system, the limbs are not screwed onto the riser, but simply inserted into the corresponding holders. The mounts are standardized and ensure that the limbs can be used with all ILF risers.
