The key to this success is the Rail Ryder system. It consists of components that significantly increase the shaft diameter at two points - the cam and the shaft. This means that the bolt rests on only two points on the crossbow rail and is not complete like normal bolts. This minimizes friction between the crossbow and the bolt when firing and maximizes speed.
