Don't be fooled by the inconspicuous appearance of the PremiumProtect Backstop, it is more effective than anything else on the market! Properly set up or attached, the backstop reliably stops even arrows from compound bows or bolts from crossbows.
The Backstop was developed to provide an effective and reliable way to permanently protect the targets from being shot through, making the area behind the targets safer and protecting the arrows. Most Targets stop the arrows very well when they are new, but they deteriorate significantly with time and the intensity of the fire. The material of the target wears down, especially in the center area, and gradually becomes more permeable. As a result of this wear, the arrows penetrate deeper into the target and are only stopped by their own fletching. With stronger bows or greater wear on the target, the arrows are no longer stopped at all and pass through the target. This not only damages the arrows and Target, but also makes the entire area behind the target unsafe and dangerous.
In order not to destroy the arrows and fletching and to make the area behind the Target or the 3D animal safer, the PremiumProtect Backstop has been developed as an effective and durable protection. It is simply attached to the back of the target using the four eyelets and reliably stops arrows and even bolts. Even if the arrows pierce the Target, they do not break through the Backstop. They remain stuck in the target and protrude much further from the front than without the backstop. This makes it much easier to pull the arrows and is gentler on the arrows. The Target is protected by the reduced penetration depth of the arrows and their service life is increased.
The STRONGHOLD PremiumProtect backstop has been tested under a wide range of conditions: Depending on the Target used, it can withstand even fast and thin arrows from Compound bows and can even stop crossbow bolts. Unfavorable weather conditions and moisture cannot harm it or its braking effect. The backstop also retains its excellent characteristics when set up behind 3D animals, because even if the 3D animal is missed and the backstop is shot at directly, it reliably stops most arrows.
