Description

JACKALOPE by BODNIK BOWS Smoked Amber - Elegance Redefined!

The Smoked Amber does not carry its name without reason, because smoked oak and Mycarta were used for the handle. Both materials were kept in noble, dark tones - the smoked oak in black-brown, the Mycarta in grey - separated by 2 fine contrasting stripes. The limb is made of bamboo wood and alternatively elegant black finish or beautifully grained olive wood finish. Everything together has been perfectly combined to create an exquisite bow. Its eponym, amber, is one of the oldest jewellery and healing stones in the world. It is an energetic protective stone that boosts confidence and vitality. Its warm fire leads back to your own centre and supports you in energy-sapping situations. The perfect namesake for a perfect traditional bow.

Of course, the convincing characteristics are in no way inferior to the fine appearance. The materials used and the high-quality workmanship result, in a compact bow that trumps with very good draw performance, optimum arrow speeds and an almost complete reduction of vibrations in the grip. Despite a bow length of only 60", it can still be pulled softly and comfortably even with pull-out lengths of over 30".

Right-handed or left-handed?

Determination of the draw hand

The draw hand is the hand that pulls the string. This means that a right-handed bow is held in the left hand and drawn with the right hand.

Determining your personal draw hand has far less to do with whether you are left-handed or right-handed than you might initially assume. It is much more about determining the dominant eye. The dominant eye is used for aiming. This then automatically results in the draw hand.

The term dominant eye refers to the eye whose visual information is superimposed on everything. If a shooter tried to aim with the other eye, he would have to close the dominant eye.

There are two ways of determining the dominant eye: On the one hand, it is the eye that is generally favoured, for example when looking through the viewfinder of a camera, through the peephole or similar situations. On the other hand, there is a small exercise that can be used to determine the dominant eye beyond doubt:

  • The arms are stretched out and a triangle is formed with the thumbs and index fingers of both hands.
  • A small target is aimed at through the triangle, for example a socket or a cupboard knob. Focus on this object.
  • The hands are now slowly brought towards the face without taking the target object out of focus.
  • The triangle of thumb and index fingers will involuntarily tend towards one side of the face and this is where the dominant eye is located.

If the dominance of the eye and hand do not match, the bow should still be selected according to eye dominance. The arms can be easily retrained for the new draw hand, but not the eye.

Notes on delivery time

Please note the following information on the stated and actual delivery time:

You are purchasing an item that we do not have in stock ourselves, but order from a wholesaler for you. As a rule, it will be with us in approx. 5-7 working days and can then be dispatched to you immediately. For this reason, a maximum delivery time of 8-9 working days is displayed in the order form.

However, our shop system cannot display the stock levels of wholesalers and suppliers. Even the wholesaler cannot always have every variation in stock. It may therefore be the case that the item has to be ordered directly from the manufacturer (Asia, America). In this case, the delivery time can be extended to up to 12 weeks. In special cases, the item will be made for you and may have an even longer waiting time.

After finalising your order and checking the availability of your items, you will receive information from us with a more precise delivery time. If possible, we will also offer you alternatives that can be delivered more quickly.

Thank you for your understanding.

Also Set-Up direkt übernommen. Abschuss defakto nahe an geräuschlos, ein Genuss. (10 ggp, Biebersilencer))
