JACKALOPE ARCHERY has “shrunk” the Moonstone. By popular demand, the Moonstick was developed as an incredibly short yet remarkably comfortable bow, convincing with excellent performance. The Moonstick impresses with efficient shooting behavior and a smooth draw. Despite its very compact size of a mere 50 inches, it can be drawn effortlessly and smoothly up to 30 inches without forming a noticeable wall at full draw. With its high arrow speeds, the Moonstick is beyond question.
Just like its big brother, dark gray tones down to a deep black dominate the design, creating a fascinating, timeless appearance. The color design is also inspired by black moonstones, a very rare variation of the usually light moonstones. The namesake is said to help reduce emotional tension, relieve fears, and promote intuition and determination.
The dark coloration accentuates the charming appearance of grained wood. The bow is rounded off with a powerful glass laminate, giving it an almost smoky finish and further emphasizing the grain of the limbs.
Of course, it's not just the appearance that impresses: the new member of the Jackalope Archery family convinces with a riser made of Dymondwood. This innovative material - a highly stable combination of multiple layers of wood and epoxy resin - absorbs vibrations almost completely, allowing for faster, more consistent shooting.
The carbon-reinforced limbs with a core of high-quality maple and a powerful glass laminate also play a significant role. The carbon is used in the recurve area up to the tips, resulting in even higher stability and resistance to twisting. Even at full draw, just at the moment before releasing the string, the Moonstick remains stable and rewards the shooter with even better shooting behavior.
