Shaft | BSW Pinewood - wood
The BSW Pinewood is made of high quality pine wood, has a diameter of 11/32 inch. Since wood is a natural product, each shaft is unique in itself. Apart from the standard turned diameter, the shafts differ in their appearance and characteristics. The grain or appearance (growth rings, flames) is different for each shaft. Also the spin value is always individual and cannot be determined exactly, therefore the shafts are only sorted into categories with a spin width of 5 lbs. In order to have the most consistent shafts possible, all shafts are hand-spined, inspected for cracks, reflex tested and aligned.
"Shafts extra spinning" and "Shafts weighing out"
With the two services "Weigh out shafts" and "Shafts extra spinning", you can reduce the differences of characteristics between the shafts.
- With the service "Weigh out shafts" you can define the tolerance range of the weight deviation within the ordered quantity of the shafts and minimize it up to 5 grains
- The service "Shafts extra spinning" gives you the additional possibility to define also the tolerance range at the spin and limit it to max. 1 lbs

If you choose the extra service "Weigh out the shaft" and/or "Extra Spining", please note that the shafts can only be shortened and varnished after weighing out/spining. Since wood is a natural product, there may be variations again due to the uneven nature after shortening.
