2nd CHANCE | JACKALOPE - Obsidian Refined Tournament - 62 inches - One Piece Recurve Bow - 40 lbs | Right Hand
The bow shows signs of use.
Precision, speed, elegance – the Jackalope Tournament One Piece Recurve Bow sets new standards in design, material selection, and performance. Developed for demanding archers, this one-piece hunting recurve combines maximum power with absolute control and vibration-free shooting.
Innovative materials for ultimate performance
The core of the Tournament is its stabilized wooden riser. It offers optimal stiffness and high self-weight – exactly what a top-class tournament bow needs. The pronounced recurve geometry ensures impressive energy transfer to the arrow, guaranteeing maximum speed and efficiency.
A special highlight: Jackalope dispenses with conventional fiberglass and instead relies on a pure bamboo core, coated on both sides with high-quality 3K visual carbon. This combination gives the limbs an incomparably lightweight, torsion-resistant, and high-performance profile. The result? A smooth, stack-free draw even beyond the maximum draw length of 31 inches and a precise, powerful shot.
The geometry – Distinctive, dynamic, powerful
The Refined Tournament relies on a modern, expressive form that embodies uncompromising performance and precision. Its clear, powerful lines and the more compact 62-inch length make it a dynamic bow with impressive speed and responsive handling. Perfect for archers who appreciate fast, direct feedback and striking aesthetics.
Perfection in appearance and feel – The Obsidian: The essence of strength and precision
Every Jackalope One Piece Tournament is more than just a bow – it is a statement. Inspired by the power and symbolism of genuine gemstones, each color variant embodies its own personality, reflected in both design and unique shooting characteristics.
Black as night, powerful like an irresistible arrow – The Obsidian has always stood for protection, clarity, and determination. This deep black bow embodies exactly that: a noble stabilized HD wood with subtle decorative stripes, which in combination with the high-quality 3K carbon exudes unparalleled elegance. Just as volcanic obsidian was once used as a sharp-edged blade, your arrow also cuts through the air with maximum precision.

With the Jackalope One Piece Tournament series, a new era of one-piece hunting recurves begins. State-of-the-art material technology meets first-class design – and all at an unbeatable price-performance ratio. Experience the perfect balance of performance, comfort, and aesthetics.

Right-handed or left-handed?
Determination of the draw hand
The draw hand is the hand that pulls the string. This means that a right-handed bow is held in the left hand and drawn with the right hand.
Determining your personal draw hand has far less to do with whether you are left-handed or right-handed than you might initially assume. It is much more about determining the dominant eye. The dominant eye is used for aiming. This then automatically results in the draw hand.
The term dominant eye refers to the eye whose visual information is superimposed on everything. If a shooter tried to aim with the other eye, he would have to close the dominant eye.
There are two ways of determining the dominant eye: On the one hand, it is the eye that is generally favoured, for example when looking through the viewfinder of a camera, through the peephole or similar situations. On the other hand, there is a small exercise that can be used to determine the dominant eye beyond doubt:
- The arms are stretched out and a triangle is formed with the thumbs and index fingers of both hands.
- A small target is aimed at through the triangle, for example a socket or a cupboard knob. Focus on this object.
- The hands are now slowly brought towards the face without taking the target object out of focus.
- The triangle of thumb and index fingers will involuntarily tend towards one side of the face and this is where the dominant eye is located.
If the dominance of the eye and hand do not match, the bow should still be selected according to eye dominance. The arms can be easily retrained for the new draw hand, but not the eye.
