Description

JACKALOPE - Tigerseye - Refined Tournament - 60-68 inch - 30-50 lbs - Take Down Recurve Bow

The Tigerseye from Jackalope Archery represents the tip of modern bow making, a combination of advanced technology and traditional craftsmanship. The refined workmanship of the riser emphasises the craftsmanship that goes into every Tigerseye. Every single step of the manufacturing process is carried out with the utmost care to ensure the highest quality. Experience for yourself the fusion of cutting-edge technology and elegant design that makes the Tigerseye an inimitable companion for discerning archers.

  • Exceptionally quiet and stable
An absolute highlight is the stabilised HD wood used, which is known for its high density and exceptional stability. Compared to the previous Dymondwood, this wood has more weight, which makes the bow even more stable and smoother in its shooting behaviour. Every shot will be a real pleasure!

  • More weight - higher precision
The use of HD wood and the resulting additional weight minimises vibrations. This makes the shooting behaviour smoother and easier to control. This gives the arrow a smoother and more consistent trajectory for greater precision at the target.

  • Innovative design - inimitably colourful
While technical progress takes centre stage, the Refined version of the Tigerseye also offers a visually appealing appearance. The natural grain of the HD wood combined with a carefully conceived design gives this bow not only functional superiority, but also a high-quality character. At the heart of the bow is the artfully crafted, three-part riser, which impresses with its elegantly modern design language and inimitable play of colours. It radiates a mysterious depth and incredible warmth that is unrivalled. The choice of namesake seems a logical consequence. The name "Tigerseye" stands for the reddish-brown tiger's eye, a natural semi-precious stone that conveys a sense of security and allows us to rest in our centre. It helps to maintain a clear view, activates the memory, promotes concentration and lends vigilance. The riser is only visually reminiscent of this stone, but who knows, now that you know it, perhaps its characteristics will also be transferred to the bow and its archer to ensure the next arrow hits the gold.

Anyone who chooses this exceptional bow is not only investing in their archery career, but also in a timeless companion full of elegance and style. Whether for competitions or recreational sports - the Tigerseye fulfils the requirements of experienced archers and sets new standards in terms of performance and design.

And best of all, this high-quality bow comes with a 30-year guarantee*! This shows you how much Jackalope believes in its quality.

Right-handed or left-handed?

Determination of the draw hand

The draw hand is the hand that pulls the string. This means that a right-handed bow is held in the left hand and drawn with the right hand.

Determining your personal draw hand has far less to do with whether you are left-handed or right-handed than you might initially assume. It is much more about determining the dominant eye. The dominant eye is used for aiming. This then automatically results in the draw hand.

The term dominant eye refers to the eye whose visual information is superimposed on everything. If a shooter tried to aim with the other eye, he would have to close the dominant eye.

There are two ways of determining the dominant eye: On the one hand, it is the eye that is generally favoured, for example when looking through the viewfinder of a camera, through the peephole or similar situations. On the other hand, there is a small exercise that can be used to determine the dominant eye beyond doubt:

  • The arms are stretched out and a triangle is formed with the thumbs and index fingers of both hands.
  • A small target is aimed at through the triangle, for example a socket or a cupboard knob. Focus on this object.
  • The hands are now slowly brought towards the face without taking the target object out of focus.
  • The triangle of thumb and index fingers will involuntarily tend towards one side of the face and this is where the dominant eye is located.

If the dominance of the eye and hand do not match, the bow should still be selected according to eye dominance. The arms can be easily retrained for the new draw hand, but not the eye.
