How the target finder works
The target finder narrows down our range in a few steps. You tell us what kind of target you are looking for and how much power your equipment delivers, and you then see only the targets that match those details. You can adjust the price range at any point.
First you choose between a classic target made of straw or foam and a realistic 3D target. If you pick the classic target, the next question is whether you shoot a bow or a crossbow. For a bow you need the draw weight in lbs, which is usually printed on the limb or listed in your bow's product description. For a crossbow the speed in fps is what counts instead, because a fast bolt puts far more strain on the target material than a slow one.
With 3D targets it comes down to the size of the figure. The finder narrows this down by IFAA class, since that class usually affects how large the target is. Small targets fall into classes 3 and 4, medium ones into classes 2 and 3, and large ones into classes 1 and 2. After that you select one or more animal types. You can also skip this step if you would rather keep your options open.
If a result does not suit you, go back one step in the finder and change your selection.
