The key to this success is the Rail Ryder System. This consists of components that significantly increase the shaft diameter in two places - the nock and the shaft. As a result, the bolt rests on the rail of the crossbow in only two places and not completely like normal bolts. This minimizes friction between the crossbow and bolt during firing and maximizes speed.
