Shaft | SUPERSCHAFT Spruce Premium - wood - Ø 11/32" - tapered & weight out (±1g)
Made from high quality, sustainable German spruce wood, processed near their place of origin in Germany. Each shaft is rolled several times during the creation process to achieve a perfectly round shape. The shafts, which are produced from the same piece of wood in the process, are further processed together throughout the production process. - This means that even sets that have not been weight tested are better matched and have similar characteristics.
Optimal for primitive bows and lower draw weight bows, but also for those seeking faster arrow speeds made possible by the relatively low weight per inch and improved strength-to-weight ratio.
The shafts are additionally "tapered" to allow a more optimal weight distribution within the shaft and to create a more aerodynamically favourable shape. For this purpose, the shafts are tapered from their original diameter of 11/32 inch towards the nock and have a diameter of only 5/16 inch at the nock. This makes the shaft lighter and much more dynamic. It is therefore advisable to always select one spin group higher than usual.
"Shafts extra spinning" and "Weighing out shafts".
With the two services "Weigh out shafts" and "Extra spinning shafts", you can reduce the differences in properties between the shafts.
- With the service "Weigh out shafts" you can define the tolerance range of the weight deviation within the ordered quantity of the shafts and minimise it to up to 5 grains.
- The service "Spinning shafts extra" gives you the additional option of also defining the tolerance range for the spin and limiting it to max. 1 lbs.
Shaft diameter: 11/32"
Spines: 35/40 lbs, 40/45 lbs, 45/50 lbs, 50/55 lbs or 55/60 lbs
Length: 24"-32" (selectable)
If you opt for the extra service "Weighing out the shaft" and/or "Extra spinning", please note that the shafts can only be shortened and varnished after weighing/spinning. As wood is a natural product, deviations may occur again after shortening due to the uneven nature of the wood.
