Labelling of the limbs
The limbs of a bow are always marked with a label indicating not only the draw weight of the limbs but also the length of the handle or the length of the bow to which the draw weight refers. This label can look like the following:
25# @ 19" or
19H 25# 62" or
25# @ 62" or also
62" / 25 lbs
If the length of the handle is not specified, a 25" handle is usually the basis for the draw weight specification. In the case of special bows, where the limbs are only suitable for the respective handle, the draw weight specification is naturally related to the corresponding handle.
Many limbs are also available in three various lengths - mostly called short, medium and long - allowing you to reach 66, 68 and 70" despite having the same handle.
Conversion of draw weight and bow length
Many limbs have universal mounting options, enabling them to be used on various handles of one manufacturer or multiple manufacturers. It should be noted, however, that the use of a shorter or longer handle results in a change in the bow length and the draw weight.
As a rule of thumb one can remember the following:
-2" handle length = -2" bow length & +2 lbs draw weight
or
+2" handle length = +2" bow length & -2 lbs draw weight
i.e.: If the handle is 2" shorter than the length to which the draw weight refers on the limbs, the bow is 2" shorter and the draw weight increases by 2 lbs.
Example table for limbs with the draw weight specification for a 25" handle (e.g. 20# @ 25") and a bow length of 68". The table is incomplete and can be continued at will depending on the handle length.

Would you like to unpack your crossbow and start right away? Then, we offer exactly the right service for you.
Assembly service:
We assemble your crossbow completely and assemble any accessories such as string, cable glider, red dot/rifle scope/diopter, quiver and carrying strap. So you take the crossbow out of the box, don't have to worry about anything and can start right away.
Please note that the goods cannot be shipped in the original carton. Service rendered cannot be refunded.
Shooting service:
The assembly service is already included in the shooting service. Shots are fired at 15, 30 or 50 meters of your choice, inclusive:
- Complete installation service (see above)
- Quality check of the crossbow
- Assembly and adjustment of the scope
- Use of maintenance products
The shooting takes place under the best conditions. We can only offer the shooting service in combination with bolts because it is important that you shoot exactly the same bolt as we used it, as weight deviations or similar can lead to a different result. We only use Goldtip Laser II bolts with long inserts and 160gr points.
If you decide for this service, we ask you for some time. The crossbow will be shipped within the next 5 working days after ordering if it is in stock. Please note that this is a custom item and the return of the crossbow and bolts is only possible under depreciation. Service rendered cannot be refunded.
Important: The shooting service at 50 meters is only possible with a scope and not in connection with Red Dots, diopter or front & rear sight.
