Long awaited and now finally back: The BEARPAW Big Bear comes in a new look! The combination of Cocobolo and Mycarta give it weight and stability. The shape of the middle section and the BEARPAW limbs make it an extremely powerful and dynamic hunting bow. Due to its own weight, the Take Down stands securely in the shot and groups the arrows excellently.

The history of the Bearpaw Limb System

It all began in 2014, when BEARPAW first hit the global archery market with the Mohawk's legendary 17 inch grip. With increasing awareness and a large fan community behind them, the 13 inch Mohawk Hunter grip was developed. With this, BEARPAW mastered the challenge of being able to combine their proven limbs with the new Hunter grip. With the 13 inch Mohawk Hunter middle section, a short and therefore aggressive take down bow was developed with the AMO bow length of 56 and 58 inches.

In order to create a system that allows the archer to use the best BEARPAW centrepieces with the most diverse BEARPAW limbs, the contact surfaces of the limbs on the centrepiece had to be designed in such a way that the angle of attack guarantees uniform use. One of the objectives was also to ensure that the draw weight of the limbs remained unchanged, even when changing the centre sections. The length of the BLS middle section should therefore have no influence on the draw weight.

This was one of the most important steps towards the BLS: everything has to be perfectly combinable. BEARPAW now offers more than 54 grip sections within the BLS, including the long-awaited BIG BEAR middle section. Depending on individual preference and your own requirements, these can be combined with various BEARPAW limbs: Recurve Long or Short in black or olive, as well as Hybrid in black or olive.

For BEARPAW, archery means variety and different demands. Honouring diversity and uniting individual demands are the purpose of the BLS.
