Information on battery regulations
In connection with the sale of batteries and rechargeable batteries or with the delivery of devices containing batteries or rechargeable batteries, we are obliged to inform you of the following in accordance with the Battery Ordinance:
Batteries and rechargeable batteries must not be disposed of in household waste. You are obliged to return used batteries as the end consumer. You can return batteries free of charge after use at the point of sale or in the immediate vicinity (e.g. municipal collection points or in shops). You can also return batteries to us by post. Batteries and rechargeable batteries containing harmful substances are marked with the symbol of a crossed-out waste bin.
Near the dustbin symbol is the chemical name of the pollutant: CD = cadmium, Pb = lead, Hg = mercury.
