Service: Set Nocking Point

The nocking point is a small brass ring, which we mounted to the string ourselves. It marks the correct position of the arrow on the string and quickly helps to find the most optimal point . The arrow is usually docked under the nocking point.

Bow Stringer

By using a bow stringer, the bowstring can be pulled on with less effort. This method of stretching is more gentle for the bow or the limbs, because through wrong manual clamping can cause them to warp permanently.

Description

Perfection up to the last Detail - The Tourmaline Take Down Bow by JACKALOPE

The JACKALOPE Tourmaline Take Down is handcrafted in finest European craftsmanship from high-quality and innovative materials. The 15 inches long riser, for example, is made of naturally grown amazaque wood and ultra-modern teknowood, giving it its unmistakable character. The African amazaque with its distinct and very decorative grain gives the riser a natural, warm appearance. The innovative Teknowood contrasts to this, in which several layers of wood are combined with epoxy resin to form a highly stable material that minimizes hand shocks and promises high stability. The limbs, on the other hand, are made of bamboo and clear glass, whose light wood tones are a beautiful complement to the riser. All of this together makes the JACKALOPE Take Down bows fast, forgiving and very calm when shooting. Even in the XL versions with a bow length of 66 or 68 inches, the draw remains wonderfully smooth even with long draw lengths. This makes the bow even more comfortable to shoot.

Another detail, perhaps not so obvious in its perfection, are the hand-cut transitions from the riser to the limbs. The riser merges into the limbs completely seamlessly, making it easy to forget that this is a take down bow. Noble design shows itself in inconspicuous details after all.

Inimitably colorful, just like its namesake! The Tourmaline's riser combines a harmonious color scheme in warm brown and earth tones with accents of silver-gray and emerald-green. Each bow is unique and underlines the personal individuality of each archer. The eponym Tourmaline stands for its ability to pave the way to your goal, it not only has a constructive and invigorating effect, but also has a positive impact on a spiritual level.

SPEED - Carbon for even more velocity!

Of course, its traditional look is both simple and beautiful at the same time, but the Red Beryl by JACKALOPE Archery convinces with one thing above all: Its speed. Even on the drawing board, the Red Beryl was specifically optimized for higher speeds thanks to its special bow shape. Consequently, the main focus in the design of this bow was on its increased performance and maximum speed. These requirements are optimized by the optionally available speed versions. An additional layer of carbon further improves the already excellent characteristics of the bow. It makes the bow more forgiving and provides more accurate groupings when shooting. But how does it do that? Very simple: The carbon inlay not only makes the limbs lighter and more torsion resistant, but also about 10fps faster.
