GRAND CANYON Indiana - Tent
The Indiana is a classic tipi tent with a central pole and pre-assembled A-frame supporting the large tent entrance. It offers plenty of space for families or groups even for a sit-in during the day. The sewn-in groundsheet protects against insects and makes the tent easy to pitch. Large ventilation bonnets and mosquito net inserts in the outer tent ensure the best ventilation and a comfortable tent climate at all times.

We were able to test the Grand Canyon Indiana for you and now want to share the results. The tent is advertized for 8 or 10 people, but we used it for only two. This way we had a true glamping experience. Due to its large dimensions, the tent offers a very comfortable indoor environment in which it is both very nice at night as well as during the day. The fact that you can stand in the tent with its total height of 2.50m, makes for great freedom of movement and also enough space to set up a table with two or even three chairs inside. There also is enough room to store luggage and other utensils in the tent. Even our dog had his own area.
The size suggests that assembling and disassembling the tent takes a long time, however, it is designed in such a way that it is very intuitive to pack up. In addition to that, setting the tent back up by hand at a later point is super simple too. The first time we struggled a little, but after that, when you know how it works, it is really easy.
Many tents of this type are made of cotton, which, however, quickly begins to mold when wet and the weight is quite a bit higher as well. The tent as well as its individual components are very well made and high-quality. It´s architecture style is a great choice, as the individual air inlets and windows provide outstanding ventilation. Despite all of the ventilation, it still offers maximum protection from mosquitoes. On top of that, the floor is very durable and well integrated so that dirt and moisture have no chance to get in.
For the price, the tent really is outstanding and definitely an eye-catcher on any campsite. Compared to similar designs, the Indiana excels with a superb price-performance ratio. If you do not have to pay attention to weight and storage space, the Grand Canyon Indiana certainly is a great choice and therefore gets a recommendation from us.
