ASEN SPORTS Zebra Duiker
The Duiker
(Cephalophinae) belongs to the "Tiny Ten Antelopes of Southern Africa". They are
small, forest-dwelling antelopes that are very adaptable to changing
environmental conditions. In the wild they are hardly seen, as they are mainly
nocturnal and shy. Their diet consists of grasses, leaves, fruits, bulbs and
flowers. They behave very aggressively towards conspecifics. Males, as well as
females, have horns. The colouring varies between the species.
